INTRODUCTION OF RAMEN FURY
Ramen Fury is a commercial card game designed by Prospero Hall and published by Mixlore. In this game, players are trying to build high scoring bowls of ramen. On each turn, players perform two actions: Add ingredients, raid the pantry, steal ingredients from an opponent’s bowl, or simply stockpile resources – there are plenty of decisions to be made each turn.
MATERIALS
Each player will have three Ramen Bowl cards that they will need to fill with ingredients
There are a variety of different ingredients. In the picture above, the top row contains the Flavor Ingredients. These determine the ingredients that will be included in the bowl and how points will be earned. The middle row contains the different ingredients. Green cards are vegetables, red cards are protein, and tofu represents both veggie and meat. In the bottom row are the Chili Peppers and Nori Garnish. These are special cards that add or take away points from a bowl.
Use a Spoon to steal an ingredient from the top of an opponent’s bowl.
SETUP
Each player begins the game with three Ramen Bowl cards and two Spoon tokens. Place the three ramen bowls in a row with the noodle side face up.
Shuffle and deal three ingredient cards to each player. Players should not display their hand. Place the remaining ingredient cards face down as a draw pile in the center of the table and flip up four cards. Place them in a row alongside the ingredient card draw pile. This row is called the Pantry.
THE PLAY
Whoever ate ramen most recently goes first. During a player’s turn, they choose two actions to complete. Actions may be completed in any order, and the same action can be completed twice.
ACTIONS
Prep: Place one ingredient from your hand onto a ramen bowl pile. The card must be placed on top of that bowl’s pile. Ramen bowls can only have one Flavor Ingredient, and cannot have more than five ingredients.
Draw: Choose one of the ingredient cards from the Pantry and add it to your hand. When a card is taken from the pantry, the player immediately replaces it with a card from the draw pile. The moment a player has more than five cards in their hand, they must immediately discard back down to five.
Spoon: Use a Spoon to take an ingredient from the top of a bowl on the table and add it to your hand. The Spoon must be discarded.
Restock: Remove all the cards from the Pantry and replace them with four new ones from the draw pile. The special abilities on any Chili Peppers or Nori Garnish are activated when a player restocks.
Eat: To eat a bowl of ramen, flip the entire pile over. The back side of the Ramen Bowl will be displayed. A Ramen Bowl must have one Flavor Ingredient and at least one other ingredient before it can be eaten. A bowl that has been eaten cannot have more ingredients added or taken away.
Empty: Remove all the ingredients from one of your ramen bowls. The ingredients are discarded.
SPECIAL ACTIONS
Any time a Chili Pepper or a Nori Garnish card is placed in the Pantry during a player’s turn, that player may immediately play one pepper or nori on any bowl. The card can be added to an opponent’s bowl or their own. Once a nori or pepper is played from the Pantry, immediately replace it with another card from the draw pile. If it is again a pepper or nori, play the card. This continues until the new card cannot be played.
Chili Peppers and Nori Garnishes can also be played from a player’s hand on their turn. Playing these cards is considered a free action.
CONTINUING PLAY
Play continues around the table with each player trying to build valuable bowls of ramen.
ENDING THE GAME
A player eating their third bowl of ramen signals that the game is about to end. Each player gets one more turn. After the last player finishes their final turn, it is time to tally up the score. keonhacai

Beef Flavor bowls earn 2, 5, 9, or 14 points based on whether they 1, 2, 3, or 4 different protein ingredients.
Fury Flavor bowls earn 2 points for every chili pepper they have in them.
